March 16, 2011 - In-person meeting in New York city, New York.

March 18, 2010 - In-person meeting in Bethesda, Maryland.

February 26, 2009 - In-person meeting in Bethesda, Maryland.

July 2008 - present - Ongoing collaborations of selected PanC4 sites with PanScan (http://epi.grants.cancer.gov/PanScan/).

January 23, 2008 - In-person meeting in Bethesda, Maryland; Discussions regarding pooled analyses, genotyping projects.

December 9, 2006 - In-person meeting in Bethesda, Maryland; Discussions regarding how to share survey data, establish pooled data studies, and discuss merits of genotyping studies.

May-Sept, 2006 - Follow-up, planning conference calls occurred among PanC4 members.

April 4, 2006 - In-person meeting convened during the American Association for Cancer Research convention in Washington DC.

March 2006 - Survey of investigators to assess case-control studies was conducted.

Feb 2006 - Dr. Paolo Boffetta contacted pancreatic cancer epidemiology investigators who conduct case-control studies around the globe to gauge interest in forming a consortium; Steering Committee was formed.
